Without much sailing experience they relied on the old adage of live and learn. The plan was to learn along the Florida Keys and then shoot across to Bimini. Matthew went about his tale painstakingly. He took us through every knot that led them to the crossing of the Gulf Stream after only less than a month of living and learning.
